It’s said to be the world’s largest art exhibit, 110 kilometers and 94 stations which are decorated by some 200 artists. Welcome to a 1000-pieces art tour in the Stockholm’s subway system.
Motif: Stadion Station
The design from 1973 celebrates the 1912 Summer Olympics which took place in Stockholm at a stadium not far from this station. The rainbow colors represent the five rings of the Olympic movement and is a reoccurring theme throughout the station.
